Alumni Association

Welcome to the ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓƵ Alumni Association!

The Alumni Association gives you and your fellow alumni what you need to enhance your career connections and enrich your life. That, and have some fun. Once you leave ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓƵ, you automatically become a member of the Alumni Association. The mission of the Association, which has no dues, is to encourage alumni involvement in the celebration and support of ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓƵ. Your years at ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓƵ may come to an end, but your relationship with the University is just beginning.

ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓƵ The Association

The goal of ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓƵ Alumni Association is to generate goodwill and support for the University and to foster a lifelong connection among alumni with their alma mater.

Membership in the Alumni Association is open and free to all our graduates. We believe that the Franciscan values integral to the Franciscan experience will guide and enrich your participation with the Association.

Led by an Executive Committee and a Board of Directors made up of exceptional alumni leaders, Association programs are designed help keep classmates in touch with each other and to create social, service, and career opportunities.

The Association:

  • Offers leadership and a voice for its members
  • Promotes networking among the alumni to build personal and professional growth
  • Recognizes exemplary alumni at the annual Hall of Distinction Awards Reception.
  • Assists current students by offering mentoring sessions and engaging with them at campus events.
  • Encourages giving to support the future of the University

As a volunteer-driven organization, our success depends on the personal commitment, talent, and active involvement of FranU Proud leaders who embrace the opportunity to serve and the responsibility to lead. President:
  • Schedule/Call meetings
  • Preside at all meetings
  • Primary point-person with ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓƵ
  • Appoint committees
  • Non-voting Ex-officio member on all Alumni Association Committees
  • May address graduates at graduation when appropriate
President-elect:
  • May serve as a public relations point-of-contact
  • Act as President in the event the President is unable to attend meeting(s), attend events and/or act as a representative in place of the President
Secretary:
  • Record and distribute minutes of meetings
  • Maintain membership records
  • Maintain committee reports and other associated records
  • Handle correspondence
